80% Syrah, 20% Mourvèdre:
The harmonious Syrah and Mourvèdre blend evoke aromas of wild blueberry, stewed boysenberries, fresh potting soil and dried sage brush. A balanced foundation provides notes of grilled plum, waxed leather, pink peppercorn and Chanterelle mushroom. Rustic tannins and a soft minerality reminiscent of granite underlay a savory, lasting finish. This predominantly Syrah wine pairs well with beef short ribs, herbed BBQ, game meats, and mushroom tortellini.

Generous aromas of black raspberry jam are tinged in smoked meats on the nose of this blend of 80% Syrah and 20% Mourvèdre. There’s a firm tannic edge to the tip of the sip, which then descends into rounded black plum and blueberry flavors. —Matt Kettmann

On a drive home after spending the weekend in Cambria, the Stilson Family fantasized about the idea of owning a vineyard and making their own wine. A month later in the middle of their busy lives down south, they revisited this idea and decided to go for it.
Months of searching for properties led them to the perfect vineyard. This was the day that their fantasy became a reality.
